Adhering to the humanistic idea of “better for more”, we are dedicated to social welfare in our spare time. We are going into public welfare organizations, villages and hospitals to bring help and care to the needy groups as much as we can. And we approach primary and secondary schools to let more children know about health and science. We have set up the Forssmann Overseas Exchange Funds in universities , such as School of engineering and applied sciences of Nanjing University, aiming to encourage young students to enter into advanced laboratories, companies and universities abroad and to have academic exchanges with international advanced counterparts, ultimately to promote the development of advanced science and technology in the field of human health. We set up the Forssmann Biomedical Engineering Forum to bring industry leaders into universities to inform students and faculty about the opportunities and challenges of today’s medical field and to discuss the gains and losses in clinical technology. We have set up the Forssmann Academic Achievement Award at academic conferences, including the International Cerebrovascular Disease Summit, to reward talented individuals in the fields of medicine and engineering for their contributions to the advancement of development.
